Spicy Guacamole


Total Time: 20 Minutes


Ingredients:

4 ripe Avocados (mashed)

1 Red onion (diced)

4 Garlic cloves (minced)

1/4 c. Fresh cilantro (chopped)

1 Large tomato (diced)

1/2 Red bell pepper (diced, red color optional)

2 Jalapeños (diced)

1 tsp. Jalapeño oil (optional)

1 1/2 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Black pepper

1 tsp. Red pepper flakes

1/2 tsp. Garlic powder

1/2 tsp. Cayenne powder

1/2 tsp. Cumin

1/2 tsp. Chili powder

1 Lime (juiced)

Jalapeño slices (for garnish, optional)


Method:

Mash the avocados with a mortar and pestle. Add the diced red onion, minced garlic, chopped fresh cilantro, diced tomato, and diced red bell pepper. Mix the guacamole together well with a spoon. Option to stir in jalapeño oil for an extra kick. Then, stir in the seasonings: salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, cayenne powder, cumin, and chili powder. Squeeze the lime over the guacamole and stir. Finally, option to garnish the guacamole with fresh slices of jalapeño, which also have an extra kick. Serve with salty organic tortillas chips and freshly cut vegetables.
