Golden Chedda Cheeze Ricotta

The perfect plant-based substitute with immense flavor. Try it with your favorite Italian dish.

Total Time: 30 Seconds

+ Boiling Water


Option 1: Hydrate the Whole Bag


Ingredients:

2 Containers of Golden Chedda

1/3 c. Boiling Water


Method:

1) In the food processor, combine 2 Containers of Golden Chedda and 1/3 c. of boiling water.


2) Blend the ingredients together for 30 seconds.


3) A spatula may be needed to ensure the entire mixture is well blended.


4) Golden Chedda  Ricotta is the perfect substitute for traditional ricotta in classic recipes like lasagna, pizza, pasta, eggplant parmesan, or eggplant rollatini.


5) Once hydrated, store in the fridge for up to 1 week.


Serving Size: 1 c. Ricotta


Option 2: Hydrate Half the Bag


Ingredients:

2 Containers of Golden Chedda

3 tbsp. Boiling water


Method:

1) Combine 2 Containers of Golden Chedda and 3 tbsp. of boiling water in a small bowl and mix the cheese together with a spoon or fork. Golden Chedda will quickly turn into Golden Chedda Ricotta!


2) Golden Chedda Ricotta is the perfect substitute for traditional ricotta in classic recipes like lasagna, pizza, pasta, eggplant parmesan, or eggplant rollatini.


3) Once hydrated, store in the fridge for up to 1 week.


Serving Size: 1/2 c. Ricotta
