Golden Chedda Mac Sauce

The ultimate comfort food made vegan, gluten free, soy free, and organic!

Total Time: 30 Seconds

+ Boiling Water


Option 1: Hydrate the Whole Bag


Ingredients:

2 Containers of Golden Chedda

1 c. Boiling Water

8-10 Ounces Cooked Pasta

Optional: Reserve 1-2 tbsp. of Golden Chedda as a topping


Method:

1) Start by making 8-10 ounces of pasta.


2) Next, to make the Golden Chedda Mac & Cheese sauce. In the blender, combine 1 (7 oz) bag of Golden Chedda (= 2 c.) and 1 c. of boiling water. Blend for 30 seconds. Watch as the Golden Chedda turns into a deliciously creamy Mac & Cheese sauce.


2) A spatula may be needed to ensure the entire mixture is well blended.


3) In a large bowl, combine 8 ounces of cooked pasta and the Golden Chedda Mac & Cheese Sauce. Stir the creamy sauce into the cooked pasta.


4) Optional: Sprinkle more Golden Chedda, which is a "Cashew Parmesan Alternative" on top of the Mac & Cheeze dish for an extra delicious layer of flavor. This trick is similar to topping homemade Mac & Cheeze with breadcrumbs but Golden Chedda is packed with plant-protein, is made with healthy ingredients, and it has so much flavor!


5) Once hydrated, store in the fridge for up to 1 week.


Serving Size: 1 Big Bowl of Mac & Cheeze (4-6 Servings)


Option 2: Hydrate Half the Bag


Ingredients:

2 Containers of Golden Chedda

1/2 c. Boiling Water

4-6 Ounces Cooked Pasta

Optional: Reserve 1-2 tbsp. of Golden Chedda as a topping

2) Next, make the Golden Chedda Mac & Cheese sauce. In the blender, combine 2 Containers of Golden Chedda and 1/2 c. of boiling water. Blend for 30 seconds. Watch as the Golden Chedda turns into a deliciously creamy Mac & Cheeze sauce.
