Backyard Salsa


Total Time: 10-15 Minutes


Ingredients:

2 Green bell peppers (chopped)

2 Jalapeños (deseeded, chopped)

2 Large tomatoes (chopped)

1 Red onion (chopped)

1/4 c. Fresh cilantro (chopped)

1 Lime (juiced)

1 1/2 tsp. Salt

1 1/2 tsp. Pepper

1 tbsp. Temecula Jalapeño Olive Oil (optional)


Method:

1) Chop 2 green bell peppers into medium size chunks. Next, deseed 2 jalapeños and chop them into tiny pieces. Roughly chop 2 large tomatoes. Remove the peel from the red onion and chop into small chunks. Cut 1/4 c. of cilantro into small pieces. Combine all of the chopped ingredients (peppers, tomatoes, onion, and cilantro) in a medium size bowl.


2) Cut 1 lime and use a juicer to juice it into the bowl.


3) Add 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 tsp. pepper, and (optional) 1 tbsp. Jalapeño olive oil.


4) Stir all of the ingredients together well and enjoy with freshly cut vegetables or tortilla chips.
