Ingredients:
1 Package extra firm tofu
1 tsp. Garlic powder
2 tsp. Arrowroot powder
1 tbsp. Tamari (or soy sauce/ coconut aminos/ liquid aminos)
1 tbsp. Sesame oil (regular or toasted)
1 tbsp. Rice wine vinegar
Method:
Wrap the tofu in a reusable towel and place it in between two plates. Put a heavy object such as a cookbook on top of the tofu. Press the juice out of the tofu for 4-8 hours. Check on the towel and replace it if it becomes saturated.
In a bowl combine the garlic powder, arrowroot powder, tamari, sesame oil, and rice wine vinegar. Mix the ingredients together well to create the marinade. Slice the tofu into 14 even strips. Dip each piece of tofu in the marinade. Transfer the tofu to the air fryer and cook at 400 for 20 minutes. Enjoy in Summer Rolls or alone with a Peanut Sauce.
